From cheering in the stands to stepping up as a sponsor, our support for Glastonbury Little League is personal. After years of watching my son plan in the league, I was thrilled to sponsor this season's team: The Americans. It's one small way we stay connected to the town that supports us, too.

Socktober: Warming Hearts, One Pair at a Time

Socks may be small, but their impact is mighty—especially when they’re donated to those in need. That’s why I was proud to sponsor Socktober 2023, a heartfelt initiative led by the Glastonbury Newcomers’ and Neighbors’ Club. This kid-powered annual sock drive encourages kindness and community action by collecting new socks for our local homeless shelter.

My office became a drop-off spot, complete with signs and smiles—thanks to my kids, who enthusiastically hosted the collection box. And to keep things fun, each donated pair of new socks entered donors into a drawing for a $25 gift certificate to Olympic Pizza. Because nothing says community like warm feet and hot pizza.

Glastonbury Movie Night: Bringing the Community Together

There’s nothing quite like a summer evening spent under the stars with popcorn in hand and neighbors all around. I was proud to sponsor the 2023 Glastonbury Movie Night, a town favorite held at the park behind the Academy Building on Main Street. It’s moments like these—sharing laughter and classic films with friends, family, and fellow residents—that remind me why being part of this community means so much.

Ribbon Cutting Celebration

Joining the Connecticut River Valley Chamber of Commerce was a proud milestone for Julie Lopez CPA, LLC—and we marked the occasion with a festive ribbon cutting at our office. The rain couldn’t dampen our spirits! Friends, family, colleagues, and community members turned out to celebrate, making it a joyful and memorable start to our Chamber journey.
